The AV-PSA-C is a large-scale dual-tower Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator engineered for continuous industrial duty. Using atmospheric air as raw material and high-selectivity carbon molecular sieves (CMS) as adsorbent, the plant separates oxygen and nitrogen by physics: two adsorption towers alternate between pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption in a fully automatic cycle, delivering a continuous high-purity nitrogen supply without interruption.
The entire system is skid-mounted on a heavy steel frame with an integrated PLC intelligent control system — connect the air and power supplies and the plant is ready for production, cutting on-site installation time by up to 50%.

System Structure

- Stage 1 · Compressed Air Preparation
- Atmospheric air is compressed to 0.7–1.0 MPa, dehumidified in a refrigerated dryer, then passed through a 3-stage precision filter (oil & dust removal) before entering the air buffer tank for pressure stabilization.
- Stage 2 · Dual-Tower PSA Separation (Core Cycle)
- Clean compressed air enters tower A; CMS preferentially adsorbs oxygen, CO₂ and moisture while nitrogen is enriched at the top and delivered to the N₂ buffer tank. When adsorption completes, an equalization valve transfers high-pressure nitrogen from A to B to recover energy; tower A then depressurizes to atmospheric and the adsorbed impurities desorb and vent. Tower B takes over adsorption simultaneously — guaranteeing uninterrupted gas supply. An optional purge stage back-flushes the desorbing tower with product nitrogen for deeper regeneration.
- Stage 3 · Nitrogen Delivery & Quality Control
- Product nitrogen enters the N₂ buffer tank to stabilize pressure and flow; an optional purification unit raises purity above 99.999% and lowers dew point below -70°C. Flow meter and pressure gauge provide online monitoring before delivery to your process.
